This month, Bia Ha Noi is the brand which has achieved the highest uplift in its Ad Awareness in the past month.
The rise coincides with their ‘Gold Fortune with Bia Hanoi’ campaign. The ad is in line with Lunar New Year celebrations, known as Tết in Vietnam. The ad calls for consumers to buy cartons of Bia Ha Noi beer to win solid gold, or more cartons of beer.
Launched before Tết, Bia Ha Noi’s series of ads positions itself as the preferred drink of choice for celebrations, depicting people drinking beer with fireworks in the background.
YouGov BrandIndex data shows that Bia Ha Noi’s festive ads have captured Vietnamese people’s attentions. Bia Ha Noi’s Ad Awareness score (whether someone has seen the advert for the brand in the past two weeks) has risen from +23.1 to +29.2, jumping 6.1 points.
Vietnamese consumers are not only noticing Bia Ha Noi’s ads, the brand has also seen an increase in Buzz, with their score on this metric jumping from +17.6 to +22.4. The increase of 4.8 points indiciates that more people have been hearing positive things about the brand in the past month.
